ABOUT ME
Following the completion of Master in Architecture at the University of Huddersfield in 2016 - awarded with a Merit - I am currently seeking to expand my experience with a role as an Architectural Assistant.
My particular architectural passions lie with the intimacy of materials, the interplay of light and shadows and the impact buildings have on the human spirit - most importantly sensitivity to surroundings (Site, Society and Nature). My interests and inspirations span the work of architects such as Le Corbusier, Arne Jacobsen, Alvar Aalto, Tadao Ando, Paul Rudolph, Louis Kahn...
Through my studies, I have questioned the extent to which buildings have become machines to be lived in - as once most famously envisioned by Le Corbusier - and how the building positions itself in the machine era, "thinking" on our behalf, AI disguised as Architecture.
